Our testers need it to reproduce the bug.ģ) Step 3 - Then I get the error message "Can't connect to the session. Please, provide us a step by step list of what you have already done. We cannot join each others lobby at all but we can both do quick match in separate lobby's. We payed good money to play together and we cannot do so. Me and my friend are unable to connect to each others lobby so we cannot play Co-Op together which annoying. Notice that you must now choose the platform on which you're playing:, ,, , etc. An accurate title of the issue you're experiencing. I was really looking forward to The Division too.ġ. Unless Ubisoft can somehow give me those 40 hours of progress back? Seeing as how uplay couldn't, I doubt it. I will now make it part of my life as a gamer and consumer to make sure no one that I know willing invests any of their money in any product you make again. Ubisoft's poor excuse of a game client platform you call uplay threw any meaning to those 40 hours out the window. I don't care how much I enjoyed what you did with Blacklist. Because iCantPlay the game save I already invested 40 hours into. What I do know is, with the exception of Rocksmith 2014 which I sadly already paid for on Steam and there are no take backs, I will NEVER, EVER again use any of -my- money on something Ubisoft puts solely in the hands of uplay. Logic would suggest syncing would include downloading what was already in the cloud to the local machine that didn't already have anything). What I do know is, I've lost 40 hours of progress in Blacklist due to whatever uplay's excuse is for cloud save "syncing". Why the hell you guys reinvented the wheel when Valve had already designed, implemented, tested, and shipped something that works, I do not know. Why the hell you guys keep all progress, including that of multiplayer, stored locally, I do not know. Why the hell you guys put -user- data in your Program Files folder, instead of nesting in "Documents", I do not know.

However, I go to the erroneous C drive install of uplay and bam, there's a "91" folder.

I checked my old D drive install of uplay and the only game save it had was for "2", which I'm pretty sure is Conviction. Well, assuming one was ever uploaded to begin with. So I select Realistic and figure I'll be on my way.Įven though I had uplay's "cloud save sync" option enabled, it didn't redownload my game save, since one did not already exist in the C drive installation. Once I'm logged in, I go to Steam and launch Blacklist.īlacklist loads and, what's this? Select my difficultly? Why would you want me to do such a thing, I've been playing this game for 40 hours already. I launch uplay, log back in, and prepare to be happy (not thrilled, only the lovely voice of Michael Ironside could thrill me while playing Splinter Cell. Once again, I let it install to the defaultĬ:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\ Because I'm impatient and wanted to get back to enjoying a mother loving game that I paid mother loving 60$ for, I neglected to change the install path to the D drive instead of the default C when running the uplay installer.ĭ:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\ I install all games and such to the D drive. I then have a D drive which is a regular HDD. Begin the problem that cost me my 40 hours worth of game progress. A quick web search suggested reinstalling uplay as this message apparently indicates uplay isn't updating. Recently, I was getting the "failed to synchronize achievements" message from uplay when launching the game.
#SPLINTER CELL BLACKLIST COOP PC#
Please resolve these outstanding PC issues, or don't be disappointed when people pirate your work. Even today, GRFS's coop on PC does not work, which is, in my opinion, ridiculous for a 2013 game. The Multiplayer was broken on launch, and by the time they got around to fixing it the multiplayer community was dead. I must say, I was utterly disappointed at Ubisoft's execution of the PC version of Ghost Recon Future Soldier. As mentioned earlier, I'm not able to get into a single Blacklist SvM or COOP match, even after leaving it for about half an hour.

That, or the matchmaking/invitation system is broken. From these two incidences, I'm now assuming that the steam and uplay versions are having problems connecting to each other. Neither of us received any invitations.įurthermore, my friend told me that he had no problem finding online matches, unlike myself. We added each other's Uplay accounts and both tried sending each other invites. My copy of Blacklist was activated over Uplay, and a buddy of mine who I tried to COOP with yesterday had his over Steam. Since I've gotten Blacklist, I've been having problems finding any MP matches, be it COOP or SvM.
